Holy Dirt, Sacred Fire Retreat
Boerne, Texas
March 5, 6, 7, 8, 2026

Where what’s buried becomes beautiful.

We weren’t made for halfway anything.  We weren’t designed to keep dimming our own fire while our souls' are over here hollering for more.

We’ve carried it long enough — the weight of stories that were never ours to hold, the silence that settled where our voice should’ve been.

Now it’s time to return to the dirt. The sacred, holy dirt.  To sink our roots deep into the truth of who we are — not the polished, filtered version, but the raw, worthy, wildly real us.

I welcome you to join myself and other like-souls to take yet another step toward fully realizing what it is we are here to do!

Welcome to the
Holy Dirt, Sacred Fire Retreat

When I first heard the words Holy Dirt, Sacred Fire, I laughed out loud. It wasn’t what I expected — but it landed in that deep, knowing place that says, “Pay attention.” So, I did. I had asked for guidance on what to call this retreat, and that’s what came through. No brainstorming. No tweaking. Just a clear, divine drop — earthy and fierce all at once.

Holy Dirt is God-speak for “let’s get grounded.” It’s our invitation from Mother Earth — Gaia herself — to unplug, step outside, and let her work her magic on us. To walk barefoot. To breathe deep. To let the trees, the wind, and the rhythm of the earth help us sort through what’s real, what’s heavy, and what’s worth keeping.

To honor that request, I chose a resort wrapped in nature — complete with walking trails, fire pits, and a nearby cave just waiting for us to explore. (Because of course there’s a cave.)

Sacred Fire is God-speak for “let’s get brave.” It’s the nudge for all of us to face what’s been holding us back, toss it into the flames, and watch it turn to ash. Transformation, baby — with a little smoke and a whole lot of soul.

On Saturday night, we’ll gather around the fire for a ceremony to do just that — release what’s old, reclaim what’s true, and rise a little freer and a whole lot brighter.

FIRST:  just what the heck does Holy Dirt, Sacred Fire mean?

Bonfire in Sand
Perhaps you are wondering "Why should I take this retreat?"

When the Harvest Moon came up in Ocober, I stepped out to view it.  Normally, when I do something like that, I walk out, look at the moon, appreciate the sight and go back in.

This time, when I looked at the moon, I was deeply moved by what I saw.  Moved to tears, in fact.  I remember then looking at the trees and felt myself being taken away by the beauty I was seeing as well as the beauty of all the planet.  Then - out loud - I said "NO" and when back inside.

Whaaaat?

I know there is a conversation - a belief - that was feeling threatened that had me react that way.  I am now using the tools we will be using in the retreat to distinguish that belief and heal it.

I have shared this because no matter how much healing we have done - insights we have had - transformation we have experienced - there will always be the next level of discovery.  When I find I can walk or water or walk through the wall, then maybe I will be complete!

This weekend gives us room to do that work differently. With

laughter instead of pressure. With deep listening — from both the

leaders and our fellow travelers. With space to express ourselves

freely, be heard fully, and be appreciated for the remarkable

human we already are.

Want to know what I intend to get out of the retreat?

  • I heal my knee-jerk reaction to anger.

  • I become a sought-after public speaker in sacred
    communities and in businesses.

  • I heal my body of the sugar addictions.  I will
continue to lose weight with support from others and
    loving myself.

This retreat isn’t for everyone – but if you hear the call in your bones, if you’re ready to shed, shift, and stand in the sacredness of your story, then this is for You.
